The number of fatalities from the earthquake in Bukoba has increased from 17 to 23 after 6 victims died in hospital. According to the Final Joint Damage and Needs Assessment report released over a week ago, 12 of the injured remained in hospital. There are no further reports on the 6 remaining victims.
