Fear of death toll rises in the Philippines

Over 10,000 people are feared to have died from the impacts of Typhoon Haiyan. The death toll and true scale of the impact remains unclear as the disaster unfolds. Authorities have so far only confirmed 150 deaths.  There is numerous conflicting reports on the  number of dead, however there will be confirmation over the next few days as more bodies are found.
