Eruption kills 14

14 people have been killed in Indonesia after Sinabung  erupted once again. Residents had entered the exclusion zone when the eruption of ash and pyroclastic density currents took place.

There are fears of the death toll rising further as numerous people are still missing. The volcano has been active over the last few months with numerous eruptions of ash, lava and pyroclastic density currents taking place. Over 20,000 residents living in the vicinity of the volcano have been evacuated since the volcano first became restless.
